- The 70 km stretch of the Ganges, along Garhwal, in the Himalayan foothills, is the perfect spot for beginners. The river offers some of the finest rapids, each rapid followed by deep and placid pools. Sandy stretches along the river boundary allow rafters to pull up alongside.
