I Want Time!!!

Ever wish there were 26 hours in the day instead of 24? It seems as if we're all short on time and there's never enough of it to do the things we really enjoy. But there are ways to save minutes    sometimes hours    off those boring tasks you dread, and get more quality time in return.

Get a cordless phone with a headset attachment, so you can dust or make dinner or do whatever    while talking on the phone    and no neck cramps!

If you usually go to the gym in the wee hours of the morning, prepare for it well ahead. For eg., when you do your laundry, make up bundles containing socks, T-shirts, and shorts. Neatly roll them up and stack them in the drawer so that when it's time to exercise, you can just grab a bundle and go to the gym.

After you get out of the shower, eat your breakfast and let your hair dry naturally for a while. It must save you at least 10 minutes of blow-drying time.

Buy in bulk because it not only saves you the trouble of making a lot of short trips to the supermarket but it also helps save money.

Have your bills automatically deducted from your bank account.

The night before a workday, lay out things you need to take on the kitchen table: a cereal bar (also a breakfast time-saver), keys, magazines, bills to mail, whatever. You could add a note that tells you two or three key things you need to remember to carry out that day.

Try folding clothes while watching your favourite television show.

Use one blush for three purposes: for colour on your cheeks, as an eyeshadow, and as a contouring powder. It's more convenient to whip out one product instead of juggling three.

Save time looking for garbage bags by taking them all out of the box and storing them in the bottom of the trash can, under the liner bag currently in use. When you take out the full garbage bag, the next one is right there waiting for you.
