The making of an entrepreneur
For most of us it takes a personal crisis before we react towards the pressures of a working life and being a "woman."
Nurture a dream..
"You've got to have a dream if you want to have a dream come true!"
The how?
- How do we pursue a woman's agenda in a man's world?
- What is the point of equilibrium?
Playing the game...
"The balance sheet doesn't provide for gender performance - ultimately what matters is that you play the game and come out
winning!"
Being SMART at what you do!
- Identify, study your industry, employ appropriately.
- Focus on building core competency within the organization.
- Identify Key motivating factors and pursue them.
- Vision - Short Term & Long Term.
- Don't stress about the small things or you will lose sight of the larger picture.
The mantra...
- Stay focused - Set realistic goals - Revise them as your progress.
- Identify & confront your weaknesses.
- Strengthen them with hiring good professionals.
- Watch competition closely - expansion, strategy.
- Study & be sensitive to markets.
- Be a risk taker.
- Impose your values on your Organization or it's not worth it.
- Stay in touch with your expertise.
- Benchmark yourself with the best in your business - do periodical reviews.
- Less than 15% of the Companies fail to routinely track their performance in comparison to their targets or competition!
- Everybody loves a grand strategic plan, but no one seems to enjoy the nitty gritty execution (me too!)
- Communicate!!! Ensure that it reaches the bottom of the pyramid.
- Life is full of options
- Be confident that you can do what you want - no one can limit you except yourself!
- It's ok to reach for the stars!
- Life is a rollercoaster ride - enjoy the "highs" and survive the "lows".
- Life is about People...!
- Define your freedom...
Physical, emotional and financial freedom are all so important to me
They give me the power
... to live by my convictions
... to be fearless in my vision.
... to be able to cross set boundaries
... to shout from the roof tops for the causes I support
... to be a voice for the women who are afraid to speak
... to dance with abandon, with people I love..
... to be able to travel to the ends of the earth with my children...
... to be able to cry with being weak and MOST importantly to be able to give without asking ...
Freedom
.. is when you never need to live a lie.

In your mind, in your work and in your home!
Be interested and stay interesting!
- Read, write, paint, sing or dance! Indulge in an extra curricular activity that keeps your mind alive.
- Stay connected to current events - politics, social issues, international and national concerns, aid the deserving.
- Give more than you receive!
NURTURE YOURSELF!
- A HEALTHY WOMAN IS A HAPPY WOMAN - MAKE TIME FOR YOUR BODY AND SOUL..
