Hi, I am 25 years old and in my sixth month of pregnancy. I have been noticing some changes in my body but I am not sure if they are normal or if there is something wrong about them. Please share a few details regarding pregnancy during this time so that I can be sure about these changes.

During the sixth month, your belly will enlarge further and this may cause back pain and swelling of feet. You may experience wrist and shoulder pain, tenderness in the breasts, leakage of urine while coughing or laughing and extreme pain in the abdomen while stretching. You may also experience irregular and painless contractions. These are normal symptoms. Take care that you maintain proper health by taking balanced diet and maintaining proper hygiene. In case you notice any abnormal vaginal discharge or extreme pain in the body, consult a doctor immediately. Any other suggestions, anyone?

As the pregnancy progresses, you can feel and see the changes in your body. You may experience fatigue, pain in the abdomen, stretch marks, constipation, indigestion, headaches, muscle cramps etc during this period of pregnancy. Weight gain in unavoidable to practice simple stretches and breathing exercise to feel healthy. You can also practice pelvic stretches to help you in labour. Drink lots of water and plenty of fluids to keep your body hydrated. Listen to good music, read good books, watch good movies and do everything to keep yourself in a good mood.
