Mundan ceremony or the first haircut really has a lot of importance in the Hindu rituals. I am not too sure of the importance of this ceremony. However, I have come across cards for this. I believe that words are undoubtedly important but design also plays a crucial role. I recently received an invitation with a cute little baby in a tub and the bubbles had Haircut ceremony written on them. There are obviously a lot of designs that you can go with. The wordings that I found on the most recent invitation were:
“Please join me for “xxx” Mundan Ceremony as we celebrate his First Birthday and First Haircut on (date, time and venue)”
I hope it solves your problem. However, I would also love to know some other ideas in this regard. I am also going to have a baby some day. Thanks in advance!
