I often wonder whether I have real personality or it is fake. What actually is real personality?

All of us are really concerned about our personality. Like many people, even I strongly believed that there need to be perfect macho personality. I strongly believed that personality is something which is directly related to the physical prowess. I was wrong. If one needs to develop his/her personality, the most significant part is the inner self. My personality is not what I look, but it is actually that I do not look. I need to go for the personality development as I want to build the confidence and act in a just manner when the need arises. I know that my true personality will show up when I take right actions in the bad times. I want to develop that personality. What according to you is personality development? Do you consider personality development to be something that will increase your body statistics and nothing more?
