Here’s a nice little story on recycling:

Once upon a time there was a small cardboard box which was much loved by the children in the house. They would draw pictures on it, play games on it and even the cat would play with it. The cardboard box was very happy at the house and loved playing with the children. But one day, someone crushed it and threw it into a dustbin. The cardboard box was then sent away in a garbage van to some unknown place. The cardboard box was very sad for being abandoned this way. Very soon, it came to a place where some men dragged it out and beat it and flattened it. It was then put in a shredder and shredded into pieces. The cardboard box was scared out of its wits and thought that this was its life’s end. But after sometime, it realized that it had been given a new form. It was crisp and smelled like new. The cardboard box was very happy as it was sent away to a packaging company.
