Hey, does anyone remember the Thought for the Day thing we used to do at school. I studied in different schools and although there were different ways of presenting the ‘Thought for the Day’, it was an integral part of the school assembly programme in the mornings. In some schools it was read out after the prayers while in others it was written on the common blackboard near the reception lobby after the school assembly. I remember we used to take turns to write on that blackboard because it gave us thrills to see our own handwriting on the common blackboard. We had different Houses- Red, Green, Yellow and Blue and each house would take up the responsibility each week to write down the Thought for the Day.
