I have never got a chance to anchor an event in school but I think an event script should have the following characteristics:
It should be like a journey, having a story, so that the audience is engrossed.
It should have both serious and comic reliefs.
It should contain two characters guiding the journey, one male and the other female.
It should contain acts.
It should also involve volunteers from the audience.
It should contain musical parodies, poems etc. I can think of these but the central theme to be executed should be clear and concise.
The anchor should have variations in voice. She/he should be well dressed. An anchor should never show his back to the audience. The script must be interesting.
As far as I know my school concerts, the anchors used to be two young teachers, fluent in English and had a good sense of humor. So guys, what do you think?
