I remember the time I was a kid and I had a teacher, Mrs. Singh. She used to read out so many poems to us and the way she explained every meaning was just outstanding. Most of the times, she would come up with easy and funny poems so that the students gain interest in the topic and have fun in the class. It was in fact a long time and so, I don’t remember the exact words. This is what I came across when trying to relive those childhood memories. This poem is named “Jaade ka Suraj”

Jaade ke maare suraj ne,
odh liya kohra.
murge ne jab baang lagaai,
suraj ban gaya behara.

Aath baje ke baad dikhaya,
usne apna chehra.
aur shaam ke chhah bajte hi,
bhaaga, fir na thehra.

I think the students would like this one. I really miss those innocent days of childhood. Can anyone suggest me some more of such poems?
