Hi, my friends had organized a party yesterday and I was invited. During the party, I heard two of my friends discussing the importance of fair complexion for looking beautiful and attractive. I am simply appalled by the ideas some people have. How can someone judge by appearance, and that too particularly fair skin, if a person is attractive or not? Is fair skin the only criterion for beauty? I am simply disgusted by the thought of judging a person based on his skin colour. I did correct my friend but that ended in an argument. I have a lot of friends who are dark skinned but are delightfully attractive. Please clarify if I am wrong. Isn’t it wrong to cling on to skin colour?
