Airtel, the leading telecom brand of India, organized a special award called “Navratna Awards” for its retailers to felicitate them for their efforts in furthering the business. I think this is a very noble gesture as the small time retailers who spend all day selling SIM cards and gathering more consumers are great contributors in expanding the business of telecom brands. By rewarding them, Airtel has shown its concern and appreciation for the efforts of these retailers and also expressed its gratitude to them. More and more such award functions should be held for these retailers who work at the grass root level and help expand the business of such corporate giants. Does anyone know the names of the retailers who won the awards?
