Hi, I am a student and my college is organizing a dance festival next week. I have been asked to anchor the show and I seek your help in finalizing ideas on what the script should contain. The festival is on contemporary and traditional dance forms. The contestants will be showcasing dances such as Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, hip hop, salsa and contemporary styles. How should I make my script interesting? I am not worried about the contemporary styles but while anchoring for the traditional styles I do not want the speech to be boring. How can I make my speech interesting? There is nothing worse than an audience that does not pay attention. I am a little worried as the traditional dance forms are not very popular among my college mates and I am afraid that the audience will get restless during these performances. I do not want any such thing to happen and hence I am worried. Please share a few sample anchoring scripts that can go well with such dance forms.
