It is a great achievement for any person to perform unusual acts especially when he/she is a physically challenged person. I know the names of some of the physically challenged people who made major mark on society through their actions.
Sudhachandran: she was born to a family in Chennai, India and completed her masters in Economics from Mumbai. She met with an accident on one of her return trips to Chennai. This accident resulted in the amputation of her right leg. She was provided with an artificial leg. Regardless of this terrible disability, she became a talented and highly praised dancer of Indian subcontinent. She received invitations to perform from various other countries of the world. She got numerous awards for her performance. In addition, she also appears in Hindi films and television.
Girish Sharma:  Girish Sharma is a good badminton player. He lost his leg in a train accident when he was just two years old. He never let this disability to become obstacle in his area of interest and became a badminton champion.
Does anyone know of any other such people?
