Indian saree is one of the most glamorous attires for women and what makes them all the more tempting is the blouse design. Since the early times, the blouse styles have undergone a wide series of changes in their styles. From the long and puffed sleeved ones to the deep backs and various others. I am really fond of wearing a saree and thus, I am also fond of collecting various attractive designs for my blouses. I have ample of catalogues for blouse designs but I have not tried all. Just the few latest designs!
If one is slim, the ones that look attractive are the halter neck and the spaghetti types. These usually look beautiful when stitched in the utter light or utter dark combos. The medium colors are not so attractive. If you are fair, these will look very pretty. For ones that are a little heavy, you can club style with an attractive back. The cross cutting blouses also look attractive and are the talk of the fashion city. I have tried these types. Are there any other styles that can look nice? And someone please suggest me which would be the best with a net saree.

Blouse designs are changing by the day. From the plain old round or square neck designs, blouses come in different cuts and designs. You have halter neck designs, dori designs, embellished blouses, brocade blouses and what not. These days it is equally important to pay attention to the design of your blouse just as it is important to pay attention to the saree you are wearing. Most women refer to the Internet or the television or movies for inspiration in designing blouses instead of relying on the age-old catalogue book available at the tailors. There are catalogues available on the Internet which can be downloaded easily and used for reference.

You can find such catalogues at
