I know the names of some of the famous entrepreneurs from India who did not inherit wealth from their ancestors. They have entrepreneurial spirit and earned a lot of money through dedication, perseverance and hard work.

Rahul Bajaj: he is the chairman of the Bajaj Group. His company manufactures different things ranging from automobiles to home appliances. Although his company was hit hard in 2001 because of recession and stock market collapse but the company re-invested again and became a major success once again.

Narayan murthy: he is one of the founders of Infosys Technologies Limited. Murthy believes that moral integrity, transparency and honesty are the key factors that can make a man successful in business. This was the first company to be listed on NASDAQ in 1999. By 2006, the company had a turnover of approximately two billion dollars and employed more than 50,000 people.

Ektakapoor: she is the creative director of Bajaj Telefilms and is also called ‘the reigning queen of Indian television’. At the age of 19 years, she started the TV-serial production and founded Balaji Telefilms. Her company has produced more than 25 serials till date which are shown on different channels.

These are just 3 that are there in my mind. Does anyone know of any others?
