Lord Krishna and Sudama were childhood friends. Lord Krishna after killing his tyrant uncle became the King of Mathura but Sudama remained poor and impoverished. One day when Sudama did not have the money even to feed his children, his wife Susheela suggested that Sudama go and meet his childhood friend Krishna and ask him for help. Sudama left for Krishna’s palace with some beaten rice which was Krishna’s favourite. On reaching Krishna’s palace, Sudama was stopped at the entrance by the guards but Krishna came running out bare feet and welcomed his friend inside. Sudama was delighted to meet Krishna and after spending some time with his friend he departed. On his way back, he remembered that he forgot to ask his friend for help. But Lord Krishna sensed his friend’s need and blessed with him wealth and prosperity. I hope I am correct so far, friends?
