Woman is one of the pillars of any society but the sad part is that woman’s status in society is not very good in India and many other parts of the world. They are still considered as second-rate citizen and are not given their right place. The suppression of women has been going on from ages and it is one of the main reasons that now Indian government is trying hard to uplift the status of women in the society. Not only India, many other countries observe Woman Day each year in order to explain the people the importance of woman in our society and aware them against mistreating them. It is said that no society can progress well unless the women in that society are given their deserved rights. How many of you consider women as second-rate citizen and why?
