A lot of daughters of India contributed immensely to the Indian Freedom Struggle. These women are inspirations and motivate all of us with the stories of their struggle. There were many women who participated in the Indian Freedom movement. Some of them are Kittur Rani Chennamma, Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi, Rani Avanti Bai, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Sarojini Naidu, Preeti Lal Waddadar, Matangini Hazra, Kasturba Gandhi, Kalpana Datta, Lakshmi Sahgal, Beena Das, Kanaklata Baruah, Nellie Sengupta, Kamladevi Chattopadhyay etc. Can someone suggest a few more names?
