With the onset of monsoon, the markets are filled with green vegetables such as brinjals, spinach, cucumbers, ladies finger etc. However, doctors recommend that you be careful during the monsoon season while consuming these fruits and vegetables. Wash all vegetables thoroughly before cooking. During the monsoons, the body is weakened and there are high chances of problems such as gastric and indigestion. Green leafy vegetables and cauliflowers must be carefully and thoroughly washed to rid them of larvae and harmful bacteria. Use more coriander in food as it improves digestion.

You can get a list of vegetables and fruits of rainy season from http://www.fruitsnvegetables.com/monsoon-fruits.html, http://www.dnaindia.com/health/1107145/report-nutrition-tips-for-the-monsoon-season. Which is your favourite monsoon fruit?
