Music seems to be an eternal essence in life. Any situation, no matter happy, sad or uncertain, has a special connection to a separate class of music and songs. Through the times, there have been various singers in the history that have become immortal in the memories of people through their voice and the lyrics of those songs.

Some of the singers that I admire the most are Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Kavita Krishnamurthy, P. Suseela, Anuradha Paudwal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, K.S. Chitra, Alka Yagnik and S. Janaki. These singers have through their sweet voice and balanced way of singing, paved a pathway to the hearts of their listeners. This is mainly in reference to the Hindi music. For pop and rock English music, the leading singers are Madonna, Shakira (Especially with the hips don’t lie is one of my favorites), Adele, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus. I cannot come up with more. Can anyone please add some more names to this list?
