Did anyone ever play a skit based on moral values in school or college? Please share the theme or story line if you have.

When I was in school, I played a small skit on moral values that included two friends at school. The two characters, Siddharth and Rahul were like the best buddies ever. Each day, they would have their lunch packed and stroll down to their school that was just a few blocks away. One day, while the two friends were returning home, they stopped by a tree to have their left over lunch. Just as they sat down, they could see a lady sitting next to them under the same tree. She was feeling quite thirsty and asked the kids for water. Though Siddharth somewhat rejected, Rahul still handed over his water bottle to her. He even offered her some lunch. She had a bite and blessed Rahul with thousands of good wishes. This left Siddharth in maze and he learnt that no matter what, if it is in your will, you should do every bit to help the needy. Nothing can be a more blessed deed.

Can anyone suggest some other ideas for short skit on moral values?

I really dont know how old is your son but there are a number of small skits based on Jain Moral Skits available online. These skits are based on moral values that teach you sharing, kindness, friendship, humility, honesty, compassion, gratitude, self respect, responsibility, prayers and standing up for your beliefs. I would say you are actually spoiled for a choice and the more you read the more it gets difficult to choose. Here is the link: http://www.anekant.org/ss_skits.htm

There is also another good website by the name Lazy Bee Scripts which offers moral plays. You can check that out in case you are looking for something which is a bit longer. On this particular site you can find short plays that last less than 20 minutes. The first short play is named The Gossip and is written by Gerald P. Murphy. You will need to click on the Click here to read the script button to get to the play.
