Gujarati food diet plan

Diet plans are not just meant for the purpose of taking in fewer calories but they are more about taking in the right amount that neither leads to nutrition deficiency nor excess. There are various types of diet structures that people follow with their workout schemes but the most effective plan to have a fit body is to have something 6 times in a day. The Gujarati food diet plan that I have been following as of now includes the following:

Breakfast: 1full cup of milk (Skimmed) or tea, 1 Khakhara, 1 ½ Roti or Bhakhari or 2 slices of bread

Mid-morning: 100 gm. Of fruit diet including apples, guava and oranges

Lunch: 1 bowl Dal, 2 Chapati, 1 bowl cooked vegetable, 1 bowl cooked rice, ½ bowl pulses, ½ bowl curd and in all, 1 tablespoon full of oil

Afternoon Tea: 2 Marie Gold Biscuits or 1 Khakhara or 1 bowl of Vagharela Mamara with ½ cup of tea

Dinner: 1 bowl Dal, 2 Chapati, 1 bowl cooked vegetable, ½ bowl curd, 1 bowl of Khichari and in all, 1 tablespoon full of oil

Bed Time: ½ Cup of milk (Skimmed)

Can anyone suggest some modifications to this diet plan or some other diet plan to follow?

Gujarati food as it is quite healthy as it has a good amount of vegetables in it. However, if you are keen on losing weight, you can chart a diet plan for yourself and include your favourite Gujarati foods to help you get lean and fit. You can have broken wheat khichdi, dal dhokhli, Bhakri, Bajra Rotla, Phulka Roti, Undhiyu etc. You can start your day with a glass of lukewarm water with the juice of a lemon squeezed in it. For breakfast you can have skimmed milk, chappatis stuffed with lauki with a bowl of green vegetables. Pack yourself a box of fresh fruits to have as brunch. For lunch you can have a bowl of green salad, about three methi theplas with a bowl of tomato vegetable. Refill with a glass of buttermilk instead of snacking on unhealthy food. For dinner, you can have another bowl of salad, daliya and a bowl of soup. This should get you into the shape you have been dying to be in.
