Water constitutes about 70 per cent of the human body. Maintaining the liquid balance in the body is important for health and well being of the human. But the change in lifestyle in our lives has caused problems due to dehydration. We do not consume enough water and this leads to a number of problems such as fatigue, headaches, dry skin, rashes, short term memory loss, joint pain, muscle pain, random cravings, poor digestion, weak immune system etc. These are severe problems and can affect the functioning of the body. It is important that we take the required amount of water and maintain the balance in the body. How many litres of water should one ideally consume a day?
