Rani Laxmi Bai was born as Manikarnika in a Brahmin family. She was called Manu. She was very independent even as a child and her interests were in horseriding, archery and self defence. She got married to  the Maharaja of Jhansi and gave birth to a son who they called Damodar Rao. Unfortunately, her son died very young and later the Maharaja adopted a child who was named Damodar Rao. This child was denied his right to the throne by the British because he was adopted. Rani Laxmi Bai took on up to her to redeem the throne and protect her kingdom. I want to know more about Rani Laxmi Bai’s story. Please share a few more details.
