Women like KalpanaChawla, the first Indian woman in space thought beyond the line, while NeerajaBhanot, the brave hearted soul thought of others’ safety before her own. Rani Lakshmi Bai rose from the slumbers of society, led the masses during the time when social evils like Sati were prevalent. Sunita Williams became an inspirational source of current times by choosing to narrate her space odysseys. KiranBedi ensured that women had a new career to look forward to by becoming the first woman IPS officer of India. Not to forget, women like Shanti Tigga who became the first Jawan or Mother Teresa, whose benevolent achievements made her a household name all over the world.
