Ayurveda is a form of medicine which is native to the Indian subcontinent. It is a system of traditional mention and has been described in the Susruta Samhita and Charaka Samhita. Ayurvedic medicine is preferred by those who do not wish to use the strong English medicines and wish to avoid side effects of these medicines. A lot of Ayurvedic centres have mushroomed in different parts of the country. However, the major centres of Ayurveda are found in South India. You could consult your doctor before switching over to alternate medicine. Please do not take up medication on your own and please do speak to your doctor before taking any step. Can someone please share details of a few well known Ayurvedic centres? |
