What are the precautions that need to be taken in the eighth month of pregnancy? I am due to deliver and have been experiencing some discomfort lately. I am a little worried as these are the final months of my pregnancy and I do not want anything to go wrong. Please advise. |

The final months of pregnancy can be tricky as the baby has attained full growth and occupies a major part of your abdominal cavity. Visit a doctor every two weeks for regular pre-natal checkups and check with him if your weight gain is in proportion. Call your doctor right away if you experience problems with vision, breathing or notice any kind of bleeding. You may experience difficulty in sleeping so try putting a pillow between your knees to keep your spine aligned. Also the baby now lies right below your rib cage so you may develop shortness of breath. Make sure you speak to your doctor about any such discomfort. Also maintain a healthy diet and drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. I am sure our friends here too can chip in a few suggestions that need to be kept in mind. What do you guys think? |
