‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ - that’s how we respect guests in India. Having the meaning of – ‘Guests have the same status as Gods’; this quote encourages us to take care of our guests. When we invite our guests, we go to any extent for their comfort, fooding and even accommodation. Now welcoming our guests can be sometimes done through Indian traditional style in which we almost worship the guests with an arati thali. But as this is not always possible, a short poem can be also recited to welcome our guests. Make up a poem that would show that you, as a host, is very happy to welcome the guest and would make sure that your guest enjoys staying at your place. Whatever poem you select, it should develop a strong bond between you and the guest. What is your idea or suggestion regarding this?
