“Sarfaroshi ki tammmana” is one of the most recited Hindi poems. It was written for the young freedom fighters during the Independence movement in India. Some say it was dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Another popular poem  “Sabarmati ke sant tune kiya kamal ”was written for Mahatma Gandhi. It spoke volumes of how his movement was like a candle in the wind but burned bright in the hope of getting India its freedom.
