Given here are the instructions for making Chinese noodles at home:
Add salt to 4 cups of water and put it to heat. In boiling water, add the noodles. Cook for one to two minutes, stirring occasionally. Once done, drain and dry the noodles.
Take a wok or a deep frying pan and put it to heat. Add oil and let it turn smoking hot. Add ginger and cut onion to the oil. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Now add the cooked noodles and let fry over medium heat for around 5 minutes.
While the noodles are getting done, prepare the sauce by mixing sesame oil, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Add this mixture to the wok and mix well. Let the noodles be well coated by the sauce. Let cook until the noodles are nicely fried, and the flavour of sauce has been absorbed. For variation, you can add julienned carrots, cabbage and broccoli to the noodles. Ensure to cook the vegetables before adding noodles to the wok.
Also, you can add more flavour by putting in some seasoning like salt, vinegar, white pepper powder and black pepper powder.
