Nukkad Natak or Street theatre is an old-form of theatrical performance which is done in open places in front of audiences which are not required to pay anything to watch the natak. In India, nukkad natak has a long and rich history. Majority of the nukkad nataks in India are performed in Hindi for the convenience of the crowd. The people who perform these nataks do not need a proper stage, rather they give their performances at any public place.
