Here is a list of top five small scale businesses to do in India:

Restaurant- With the number of food lovers increasing in the country, you can safely invest in a multinational franchise like McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc. or open a small restaurant of your own.

Online Selling Store- This one is a win-win situation for you. Both manufacturers and buyers will be adding to your revenue. Choose the right products and you are almost successful.

Health Club/Spa- Health spas and body massage centres are very much in demand. Good services are bound to bring in profits for you.

Customized Jewellery- Wearing gold or diamonds is not as much the niche thing as is wearing an unusual, customized design. It needs lesser investment and is a super hit with all the females vying to fetch the latest one first!

Chemist Shop/Gift Shop- Acquire a government license, rent or purchase a shop in some main market and sell medicines.

Also, you can venture into event management or wedding planning. It would be nice to have more information on this area. Would anyone know?

You can look up for online groups with similar interests and try and connect with people in the industry. Also, can look up for courses, or check websites/ newspapers for related events.
