The character of Nandu in the super hit film Amar Prem was played by Vinod Mehra. Vinod Mehra was born on 13 February 1945. He started his career in Bollywood as a child actor and has acted in over 100 films. During the later stage of his career, Mehra produced and directed some films as well. Mehra’s first film was Raagni which was released in 1958. He has acted in films like Parday Ke Peechhay opposite debutant Yogeeta Bali, Elaan, Amar Prem (1972) and Lal Patthar. His other prominent films were Nagin, Jaani Dushman, Ghar, Swarg Narak, Kartavya. How do you rate Mehra as an actor?

I haven't seen much of him...though remember watching his movie with Rekha...can't recall the name :)

He is good at expressing emotions.
