My niece isn't patient enough to read and complete a book, no matter how thin the book is! I want her to get into reading and pick books beside her course material. Any suggestions?

  Children are greatly enchanted  by comics.So much so some carry this fascination right upto adulthood much to the amusement of others.introduce her to the delightful world of comics to begin with and subsequently she will graduate to serious reading

Good suggestion Eskay. Though I did buy her a few comics and she flipped through those in few minutes; I'll continue the effort hoping for the best.

 Raven, make it a habit of reading before sleep for 10 minutes. First three / four days she will sleep. But slowly she will be addicted to reading habit.

First one week you read for her, later you have to shout her to close the book and sleep.

Girls like snowwhite and 7 dwarfs and cinderlla....sleeping beauty. Girls likes princess and prince stories
