Nicknames are the easiest way of expression your affection for a loved one. It is a term of endearment that is used only by those who are close to us. It is used to express a character or a behavior or even a feature. Babies are generally given pet names or nicknames by their parents; these tend to stick on even after one grows up. Many nicknames are even given before the baby is given an official name, which tends to stick on even later on in life. Some nicknames in telugu for boys include – Putta, chellal, magu and many more.

Why only a Telugu nickname! Nicknames should be completely open to imagination and creativity. I guess the nicknames that one keeps on collecting throughout life should be thought of with fondness.

Nicknames or pet names are used lovingly by family members. Usually these are just simply conjured up by expecting moms, but these days most expecting mothers do a lot of research before deciding on a pet name for their child. You can either pick a name you like from the Internet or shorten the name of your babys formal name and use it as a nick name. For instance, boys who are named Abhishek can be called Abhi. Other pet names include Bunty, Bunny, Chikku, Chinnu, Bonnie, Manu, Tinu, Binny, Babloo, Prince, Richie, Vicky etc.

You can check these websites for more names http://tamilcube.com/babynames/telugu-baby-names.aspx, http://www.bachpan.com/Telugu-Boy-Names-A.aspx, http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/boys-names.html.

Which is your favourite baby name?
