Where the Mind is Without Fear

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into
the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening
thought and action-
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake

 Patriotic poems in English for kids are usually taught in schools and mostly these poems are recited at the occasion of 15th August and 26th January during the flag hoisting. There are many translators who translate the Hindi poems in English to make them universally accepted by the different religions of the country. Patriotic poems are able to deliver the social message and the message towards our country in a very fine way and if these are meant for kids, the poem doubles the effect. Now in schools, poem competitions are held to check the kids abilities to recite the poems with full zest and seal.

My India is beautiful and nice,

The people are brave and wise.

Mountains so high,

sea so blue;
