Scientists claim that hair straighteners will soon find their place in the storeroom as they have found a "curly hair gene".

It is expected that this path breaking discovery could result in a pill which will help in flattening the curly hair, interpreting them as the mandatory beauty accessory surplus.

According to the scientists the discovery could also make it promising to envisage whether a baby will have straight or curly hair.

The scientists at Australia’s Queensland Institute of Medical Research recognized the trichohyalin gene accountable for developing curls.

Curly-haired lead scientist at Australia’s Queensland Institute states that they can possibly develop new cures to straighten curly tresses. Also, they could foretell whether it is more likely that a child would have curly or straight hair.

In addition to this now the scientists will also be able to process identikit images from DNA samples found at a crime scene to predict whether the convict had straight or curly hair.

This can be a benchmark discovery which will not only be helpful in the criminal cases but would be of utility for women who spend hours on straightening their tresses at parlors.
