Ways to combat body odor

Body odor can lead to a state of discomfiture, which many individuals come across time to time. Medical studies reveal that individuals with body odor are vulnerable to less confidence levels which eventually influence their personal and social relationships. Body odor refers to the obnoxious odor that is discharged by the body. The odor is caused by the existence of bacteria in the body. Read on for few home based remedies to combat the body odor problem. First and foremost wash yourself twice a day with soap and water, in areas which tend to smell. Mix a few drops of rose water to the bathing water which will provide freshness throughout the day. Secondly, use an Antiperspirant. Spray it on your skin. This will kill the bacteria which results in body odor. You can also rub baking soda, vinegar, alcohol, lime or tomatoes at the areas prone to body odor. Thirdly, eat right and eat healthy because the kind of food you intake is indirectly related to your body smell. Avoid processed foods, red meat, garlic, excess spice, alcohol and tobacco. Consume lots of water and vegetable juices which will help in hydrating your body. Wear cotton fabrics which permit air to pass. Avoid colors such as black and opt for blue and white. Waxing could also be the answer as excessive sweating can lead to sweat rings on your underarms. Lastly, what works just fine is keeping your cool. Excitement, anxiety and nervousness make an individual sweat a lot. So, keep your emotions in control to smell good.
