I have been married for the past 4 years. Right from day one, my husband always puts me down..anything I do is always a problem. He keeps complaining about me. I have tried my best to change over these 4 years but nothing seems to satisfy him. I have told this to him. I have told him to tell me things in a more calm manner in such a way that does not hurt me. but he does not listen. he simply shouts and puts me down. i feel like a stupid and my confidence is shattered. slowly iam beginning to grow hatred towards him. what do i do? how do i sort this out?

Hi, I am sorry to hear that. Yeap, YOU SHOULD DEFINTILEY SORT THIS OUT. THAT IS MALE EGO. They will never change. I am struggling(physically, mentally , verbally they harass me a lot) with my husband and my in-laws-as well. Over the period they will become more worst(if you have kid). Atleast that is the case for me. Some people do change. We never know.. Be patient and try for some more days like I am tryigng right now... see how the thigns go and take correct decession.. Good luck. One friend who is in same boat like you...

Hi there, It's very sad to hear your situation but remember, you are not the only one.I can truly understand when people put you down, be it outside or inside the home. You shud've made urself clear about you before marriage itself when you were asked to choose your GROOM. But some gents show their actual picture after marriage,so not to worry. It's not your fault. One thing I have realized is that no body can love me or hate me or insult me or whatever, with out my permission.U r the best judge of urself. No body has to tell or convince you what you are or how worthy you are? U know urself better. It's at this point woman has to stay strong enough and believe in herself that she is a GOD'S CHOSEN CHILD.Not a door mat or servant. So,try to sit with him one fine day and try to explain him peacefully what you are going through and let him take his time.Meanwhile, don't give up and believe in God and pray for your husband.I'm sure you'll come over your challenge one day or the other.Just have patience to handle and accept him.And always keep respecting him. Hope this might help you at least a little bit.And let's hope for the best in future. All the best and take care.
