When you are the parent of an autistic child the whole ball game is different. It can be overwhelmingly depressing at times and heart breaking. But the key is to accept your fate and make the best use of whatever you are blessed with. First and foremost you need to identify the symptoms and consult a doctor. Gather enough information about autism so that it can help you to deal with your child. There are many social groups and association where you can join, so that your child can stay amidst similar people. If you have full time jobs even then you need to stay with your child and put in extra effort so that you constantly communicate with your child. Parents play a very important role, so patience and love and lots of courage will be needed on your part.

It is depressing only if you see it that way... Believe me an Autistic Child only needs more love and the beauty of such children are their innocence.Just enjoy that innocence and believe me it is amazing. My cousin was autistic and used to live with us.They need additional care thats it...Spend more time with them and let the child in you take over and see the beauty of it.We are not waiting for society to accept them to feel depressed or break your heart.Imagine going home to such children and becoming a child urself can there be any more stree buster. So what if they cant think on their own and people sympathize...It isonly if we allow such people to...Please bring that extra love out from you.Our mothers have done so much to us when we couldnt distinguish between apen and a knife...They bring so much out from you...Love Love Love
