I am a post graduate and working as a lecturer. My parents have decided that it is high time I marry. Recently I did "see" a guy who is well qualified and good looking. When I talked to him, I felt that I could not get along with him as a life partner. My parents want me to define why I would like to reject him. What do I say?

It is very difficult to define why you like or dislike someone. See if you can put your finger on some quality of his that put you off. This will satisfy them. Viji

Exactly,Why don't you like him.Ask yourself. All the answers to the questions of life in this world are hidden inside your heart.Be fair to yourself and others and spell out your views in clear to all concerned. As an adult person you are legally and morally entitled to your preferences .Stand up for yourself, dear Lady.

I understand your inability to express your view. What you feel or think your partner should be like cannot be put into simple points that your parents can jot down to help in thier search. But others are right, be confident of what you feel. First of all relax, don't be intimidated by your parents or the pressure of such situation. Once your mind is settled, you'll know what to say.

About your parents, they have their own concerns and are driven by them. Make them relax too. Ensure them that you're completely ready for it. I suggest, you try matrimonial sites and start a search of your own. Let your parents participate too. They'll feel better and will be more understanding ;)

Dear your name is very apt. You have really bowled a googly to all of us to face and reply. What you actually need is a one to one talk with yourself. You are not true to yourself. One cann't and shouldn't deceive oneself. Kutch to hai jiskee pardadari hai.One herself is one's best friend. So don't run after mirage, consult your inner self.
