Hi , I am 32 years old, I could not pursue my education after marriage and went thru lots of ups and downs. I could not have kids because of which I have been very sad and lonely too.

I now want toget my life on track, get a job or study , but I found that I am not qualified enough for today's job market. I did Masters in arts in college and then got married. I have good computer skills too. What kind of job can I get? My communication skills are good too. I am looking for a job in bangalore but most good jobs require at least MBA.

Should I do MBA? Will it help me? I want to occupy myself with either studies or a job. Please help me.

Thank you Santanu and Hema for your replies. Santanu I looked at some BPO jobs, some of them have age restrictions, Is it true that BPO's hire only young college graduates? Please let me know how can I get a bpo job suited to my age. I self-taught myself the entire MS office suite in last 6 months but do not have any certificate to prove my knowledge. Hema, I am interested in going to office since I do not need to stay at home. Sitting at home all day depresses me further. I have time so I want to do some good course too. I have some basic accounting knowledge, more like bookkeeping but do not have any training in any kind of software used in accounting. Most jobs I looked at ask for B Com degrees with knowledge of ERP systems? I tried to find out about ERP systems. I want to train in ERP systems so that I can get a job. I am very much interested in office job as I am new to Bangalore, don't have any friends around and want to make friends while I learn a new skill and get a job. I also would like to study something, maybe distance course or any in-class training that can help me start a career/job.

Thank you Santanu and Hema for replying. I am looking for office jobs where I can go out and meet people and have some real world work experience. Please tell me what kind of entry level administrative jobs I can apply for? Are there any entry level HR jobs that I can apply for. Even a small job asks for at least six months work experience. I do not have that. I also want to do some studies like distance MBA etc. along with job. Please tell me what kind of bpo job would be suited for my age? I am fine with English speaking jobs and have good internet skills and knowledge of MS office suite. I have a big gap(8 years) after I finished college, when I was trying to write my resume I was told to justify the gap. How can I do that? Will it work against me if I try to apply for jobs? If I do a course will that help? Please give your suggestions.
