hi friends, i am swarna and i am a graduate and also completed my interior design diploma. i have worked in 2 companies , as an interior coordinator and also in another as counsellor. but, i am not satisfied in doin this 9-5 job. so, i thtought of doing work of my own. i studied diff crafts and tried out one like candles. it has come out good. but , i dont know how to get into the way of routine business. hey, girls pls help me out in this matter. i have already sold out 1/2 dozen candles .. but customers were my relatives.. i wanted to do it in a regular and fourished manner.pls help me out swarna (sona_romeo@rediffmail.com)

If 1/2 a doz is all u have been able to sell, one thing is cleary indicated: the supply for your candles far exceeds the demand. Going further, this can be for several reasons - for example, assuming that all female relatives who purchased your candles may not have been quite comfortable in exposing their preferences to you; as for your male relatives, I guess they had no use for the candles anyway and may have purchased out of courtsey. Obviously, the solution must lie in your marketing approach. Here's what you could do - you could increase your product range by abolishing the 'one fits all' rule and making candles of different sizes, shapes and colours
