Forum    Concerns    Singletons. Good or Bad?

Recently when a single model committed suicide unable to cope with stress, the media went about with stories how singletons are not accepted in society, as easily as a married woman. Only one magazine talked about the successful single women who are happier than the married lot.  A look around myself, I came to a conclusion that today with so many break-ups and so much stress out of married life, it is really worth the effort to concentrate on doing something that makes you happy rather than taking all the pains to make somebody else (husband & children) happy. It might sound rebellious but atleast one can lead life as per self wishes. So many members over here complain of harassment by husband / in-laws that it seems marrying and suffering always come in a package. I think, in the present day, very few women would be experiencing true wedded bliss. Any comments would be valuable.
