I am the only child, working with an IT company in Mumbai. My husband is also with an IT company. My mom is 74 years old and widowed. Much against her wishes, I have made her move bag and baggage from Madurai, to come live with us in Mumbai. She has a language problem here, does not have any friends or relatives and keeps nagging me about how I should never have moved her from her home. My only aim was to take care of her, which I thought I could do better if she stayed with me. I`m not sure if what I have done was the right thing or not. I cannot chuck up my job nor can I relocate. Please help!

Please engage a maid servant of her native region to give her company and take care of her day to day needs.

Where do you stay??

Don;t leave the job, but you can relocate the place of staying where more tamil people stays... Like in Matunga or Chembur or Borivali IC colony or Dombivili.....

Try and make her friends with some tamil people... Like evening let them go for walks to temples or garden...

Please don't let her stay alone in the house or go out unescorted.if at this age she slips and hurts herself,it can be fatal. So the best solution under the circumstances is to engage someone of your region to take care of her needs both physical and emotional..
