In the Indian society,it is established custom for the girl to settle with her husband's family for thousand of reasons.This holds true in the present context also as you were very much aware of this scenario before marriage.Please donot delude yourself with flimsy excuses lest there be some misdemeanor by any one of you ,which I see as a great possibility.The right mates often get replaced by right there mates.Hopefully the matters are still in order.Immediately seek a transfer to Chennai or change your job to be with your family.Life should be lived on hard realities and not non practical lofty ideals.
