Nasa, (National Aeronautical Space Agency- NASA- get it?) earlier called The Pub (one of the oldest pubs in the Bangalore) is modelled after a space station. It features laser shows that attract tourists as well as the local crowd. Cyber Pub allows its clients to surf the Net while they have a drink, while Down Town offers pool games.

And then there are the newer pubs with special themes. The Black Cadillac is so designed as to give one the feeling of being in New York. The Underground Pub resembles a tube station in London. The Night watchman is modelled to look like a cricket pitch and pavilion.

Family Fun

Bangalore has also become a place where families go and spend an evening at a pub. Pub World and The Underground Pub have special enclosures for families. Pub World also organises regular sponsored entertainment programmes like game shows, quiz programmes and mime shows. Cellar Pub brought to the city its first stand up comedy event and they now plan to have themes for every night like rock on certain days and karaoke on others.
