Mouth Ulcer
Mouth Ulcer creates sores in the mouth. As a result of mouth ulcer the inner lining of the mouth becomes red or yellow or red in color. Mouth ulcer causes severe pain and appears the patches appear singly or in cluster. Mouth ulcer can be healed within 7 to 10 days with proper medication. Mouth Ulcer is also known as canker sores. The symptoms of mouth ulcer appear on the inner lip, inner cheek, floor of the mouth, tongue, soft palate, and in the throat. The mouth ulcer at first develops as a small bubble or blister. The open sore, which is caused by a break in the mucous membrane or the epithelium, can appear due to various reasons. The mouth ulcer can result from the infection from microorganisms or viruses. The cause of mouth ulcer can also be the physical or chemical trauma, medical conditions or medications and some nonspecific reasons. Mouth Ulcer leads to inflammation and secondary infections in the mouth.
To prevent mouth ulcer it is better to avoiding sharp food. Having sharp or chipped teeth can also run the risk of getting mouth ulcer. One can follow a number of ways to make the lining of the mouth healthy. In this way one can resist physical damage. The actions of undesirable agents can also be reduced with the help of these measures. As a protection from mouth ulcer supplements containing a whole range of fundamental amino acids are helpful. It is better to avoid mouthwashes and toothpaste, which have a powerful anti-microbial action. The toothpastes with harsh detergents such as sodium lauryl sulfate should be avoided. As a protection from mouth ulcer B vitamins especially vitamin B 12 is beneficial. Hyaluronic acid containing products helps a lot to prevent the ulceration caused due to physical damage. Hyaluranon also helps in tissue regeneration and protects the connective tissues of the mouth from the damage by the undesirable agents.
