Tips on Hand Care by means of a perfect manicure:

First remove the old polish. Take a cotton ball moist with polish remover and gently wipe the polish starting from the base to the tip of the nail. Prevent the smearing of the color at the edge of the nail.

Shape the nail in a nice manner. Take a nail file and attribute an oval shape to the tip of the nail. Start with the little finger proceeding to the thumb. Begin with the left hand and take each finger, hold them with the other hand and file the nail from the corner to the center. Go from left to right first then again from right to left.

Then soak the finger in warm water in a bowl in order to soften the cuticle. The water should be soapy. One can use any mild liquid soap. A shampoo also acts well. After some time wash the fingers and dry them with a towel and then push back the cuticle and skin gently. Apply the cuticle remover and make the cuticle loose with a cuticle pusher. After doing it wash the hand again and pat dry.

The inside of the nails can be cleaned by soaking a cotton pad in soapy liquid and then wash it clean with plain water.

If someone has dead cuticle or hang nail then it can be cut with a small scissor or a cuticle nipper.

Then use cuticle crme or olive oil at the base of the nail. Wash them after a while with soap and place the nails on a board to brush out all the remaining dead skin and cuticles.

Put the base coat in long strokes and leave it to dry. Then apply one of the shades of nail color of your choice. The color should be applied lightly from base to tip. If there will be excess polish at the edge of the nail, remove them with polish remover

As the polish dries off., apply hand lotion starting from wrist to tip of the finger in gentle motion.
